WHAT DO WRISTBANDS COST?

Wristbands cost $15 regardless of how, where or when they are purchased. Children 15 and under do not need to purchase a wristband

WHERE AND HOW CAN I BUY A WRISTBAND FOR ADMISSION INTO THE FESTIVAL?

We encourage you to support local fundraising efforts by purchasing your wristbands from a participating not-for-profit organization. For each wristband sold, $2 will go to support the local organization’s charitable causes.

If you’re unable to visit a participating not-for-profit, you can purchase a wristband online, over the phone, in person at Innovation Pointe, GAGE’s downtown office location, or at the Main & Riverside box office on the day. For full details, see the admission page.

IF I PURCHASE ONLINE, HOW DO I RECEIVE MY WRISTBAND?

When purchasing a wristband online, you can  choose to have the wristbands mailed to you or have them held at the Main & Riverside Box Office for collection during the festival.

DO I NEED A WRISTBAND TO EAT LUNCH AT THE FESTIVAL ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY?

No. Wristbands are required after 4pm on Thursday, after 4pm on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

WHERE WILL THE ENTRANCES TO THE FESTIVAL BE?

The main entrance and box office is at Main and Riverside. Additional entrances are at Court & Riverside, and Cherry & Riverside. You will not be able to purchase wristbands, VIP passes or preferred seating upgrades at these additional entrances.

CAN WE BRING FOOD OR DRINKS TO THE FESTIVAL?

The Festival is a licensed event with plenty of bars to pick from. No Alcohol or Glass allowed. We have a wide variety of food at the Taste of Evansville not-for-profit vendor booths, which are stationed inside the Festival. All proceeds will go to the not-for-profit organizations running the booths.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SEATING?

Yes, it is fine to bring your own folding chair.

WHAT AM I NOT ALLOWED TO BRING ONTO THE FESTIVAL SITE?

Weapons of any kind
Illegal substances (including narcotics) or drug paraphernalia
Framed or large backpacks
Alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the Festival)
Glass containers
Food or beverages
Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles
Bicycles inside Festival grounds (bike racks are available near main street entrance)
Carts
Large chains or spiked jewelry
Fireworks
Explosives
Large umbrellas
Non-collapsible chairs
Coolers
Tents
Squirt Guns, Water Guns and Toy Guns
Pets (except service dogs & DockDogs competitors)
Video equipment: No video recording will be allowed.
Professional still camera equipment (no detachable lenses, no tripods, big zooms, or commercial use rigs)
Audio recording equipment
No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed.
Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, etc
Metal aerosol containers, including sunscreen

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A CAMERA TO THE FESTIVAL?

Small still cameras are of course permitted. Please do not bring cameras with professional telephoto lenses, video cameras or audio recording devices to the Festival. You will be asked to take them back to your car or accommodation.

WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE?

Disabled toilets with access ramps will be available.

The Special Needs tent will be available for special needs festival patrons and their friends and families from
Thursday - Sunday.  The tent will provide a place for those with special needs to be able to get out of the sun and enjoy a great view of the riverfront activities.

HOW DO I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

Our staff understands that behind every successful GAGE event you'll find a group of helpful volunteers that are instrumental in making the event run smoothly and efficiently. When we all pull together as a team we contribute a large amount of energy and support (and smiling faces) that is invaluable to the success of the overall event.

Whether it's setting up the event, helping with registration, providing information to attendees, or just being there to lend a helping hand, we hope you'll join us in our efforts in making Downtown the place to be.

HOW DO I GET A BOOTH AT THE FESTIVAL?

Please complete this form in full and return it with a $150 non-refundable deposit to secure a booth location. You must be a registered 501(c)3 organization to be considered for a vendor booth.

CAN I WITHDRAW MONEY WHILE AT THE FESTIVAL?

There is an ATM located in the Old National Bank building at 1 Main St - just outside the main gate.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

The Freedom Festival is a family-orientated event – please dress accordingly.
We recommend comfortable shoes and frequent applications of sunscreen, particularly for children.
